Take the time, to be still in nature.
Just take a moment, breathe deeply, and let it all go, the stress of daily life, responsibilities and such.
Being able to be in the moment is a difficult thing for most people,
Yet it's key for maintaining a sense of peace and for keeping balance in our lives. When we take the time for ourselves, even if it's 5 minutes per day at first, we begin to allow ourselves to be at peace, and we can begin to appreciate the moment for what it is.
it's honestly all we've got.
The past is just that, the past…
The future isn't here yet…
This moment is all we have.
Think about that for a second.
Cultivating a practice where we learn to be in the moment, to be still, to clear our minds of all of the senseless chatter, we begin to feel eternity, to grow a sense of appreciation for life again, to find our strength, to see the beauty in the little things, and to remember….
be like a child in your wonder.
Remember how it was when you were young and you were amazed at all of the new things, places and ideas?
To live with a childlike wonder keeps us healthy and happy, and it helps us to navigate through the sometimes turbulent nature of being human on this planet.
When we are able to "detach from the matrix", and be in the moment, we begin to see the world differently, we begin to relax,
And our problems and our responsibilities become a bit less urgent. We begin to realize, to remember that we are more than what we have to accomplish every day.
Taking the time to feed your spirit is as important as taking the time to feed your body. It's good medicine, the best medicine.
Cultivate a daily practice of peace, even for 5 minutes.
Take the time to feed your spirit, to show gratitude for all that you have, and you'll be surprised at how quickly you begin to feel happy!
